Smartvent Ventilation System

This is a second-hand system which had been in place for roughly 5 years.

It was carefully removed, as was surplus to requirements (home now have a ducted heat-pump system). However, it’s in good working order and did very well at circulating are and keep the home dry and without visible condensation. It was the best investment I made to protect my asset. To purchase all these parts individually would cost you a couple of thousand dollars.

This 4 room system is suitable or homes up to ~250m2.

1 x Touchscreen controller 1 x Sensor 1 x 10m Sensor Cable 1 x 200mm Fan (very quiet). 1 x 200mm Filter Box, existing filter + brand new F7 filter (unopened, still in box) 1 x 200mm Fixed Grill 4 x Ceiling diffusers (manual open/close) 1 x BDTO (primary air split) - 200mm to 3x 150mm 1 x Y Branch - 150mm 6 x 150mm Nude Duct (length varies) 1 x ~3m x 200mm Nude Duct (for use from fixed grill to filter) 2 x ~2m x 200mm Insulated Duct (for use from filter to fan, and then fan to DBTO) 1

Note:

• one short length of 150mm duct has some damage (pictured), so may need to be replaced (easily source from hardware store). Other ducts may have some minor holes which can be easily taped (or replaced).
• Stropping for hanging the fan from rafters needed to be cut during removal, again, easily sourced from hardware store

The system is reasonably straightforward to install without professional assistance. However, as there is some electrical wiring, this part should be performed by a qualified electrician.
