The grandkids loved to sit on them at the desk and draw, colour in and read whenever they visited.
We think circa 1940s - unsure of the timber but probably a New Zealand native - nicely restored condition.
Great size for a child's bedroom or would look good in the living room - it's a nice piece of vintage NZ furniture with two drawers to keep everything tidy.
Chairs are not part of this auction, but are being sold separately - see my other listing.
The desk and chairs make a perfect set which is what we used them for.
