Reseda odorata alba
The flowers are lime with a hint of red and they release a very strong, highly enjoyable raspberry perfume into the air; both day and night. You can detect the fragrance metres away. Good massed by themselves or add a few to scentless plantings to give them fragrance. Likes rich soil and regular water. Prefers afternoon shade in warm climates.
Annual growing to 25cm The plant prefers light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils and requires well-drained soil. The plant prefers acid, neutral and basic (alkaline) soils. It can grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade. It requires moist soil.
