SEEDS (Perennial herb)

A highly aromatic bushy evergreen herb native to the Mediterranean region. It has a vigorous upright growth growing up to 100cm. It has green needle-like spicy leaves that are used to flavour meats, vegetables, soups, stews, sauces & pasta. 

A very attractive plant which is used not only for culinary purposes, but is also often grown as an ornamental. It is known as the 'Herb Of Remembrance' & and has many medicinal uses too. It attracts bees & can be grown as a hedge.

The Rosy variety of Rosemary germinates well if lightly covered with a coarse sandy mixture & kept slightly on the dry side by lightly watering in the mornings only.

• Sow from SEPT to MARCH, in early spring to early autumn but Sept to Dec are the best months.
• Sowing depth 3mm
• Germinates in 14-28 days at 18-24°C
• Plant spacing: 90cm
• Plant height: 100 cm
• Full sun, moist, well drained soil
• Matures in 70-80 days
• Seedlings are prone to damping off. Do not over-water
