I have for sale a really cute Betsey Johnson Dachshund Dog Pin measuring 4.5 cm long and 2.5 cm wide.

In perfect condition and featuring black crystals it is unsigned but is clearly featured as one of Betsey Johnson’s designs. The crystals do not show up in the photos as they should but this is just a fabulous piece which I am tempted to keep. It is gorgeous. It measures 5 cm long and 2.5 cm high. All of the crystals are intact.

Betsey Johnson (born August 10, 1942) is an American fashion designer best known for her colorful, cute and whimsical designs. Many of her designs are considered "over the top" and embellished but this particular piece comes under the “cute” banner.

In the 1970s, Johnson took control of the fashion label "Alley Cat" which was popular with the rock 'n roll musicians of the day.

Betsey’s trademark look has remained the same over her decades-long contributions to the fashion landscape: sexy silhouettes, hippie inspired flowing fabrics, whimsical detailing, and bohemian flares.

Although her fashion house still exists she no longer does a cartwheel ending in a split at the end of her fashion shows.

I have put up a new photo. The brooch is not the one I am selling but it is identical. I just couldn't get a photo which showed the black crystals accurately.
