A very Detailed - Limited Edition - piece of 'Wearable Art - Echo' or 'Art You Can Wear'

Cast in 2 Separate pieces of the World's Finest Zinc Alloy, Light Weight, Durable and literally unbreakable.

Made by myself in Homage to Rita Angus

This is my version from part of her Self portraits in 1937. The insert was totally hand carved in several pieces to try and recreate her work

Portraying herself as a "Modern Woman' urbane, stylish, and in complete control of her own destiny. First exhibited in 1937 the original is still part of the Dunedin Art Gallery.

Totally hand finished individually , in a very limited number and with a variety of finished with either an antiqued brass or antiqued pewter with an antique brass plated or copper plated frame to complete.

Size approx.; 50mm x 40mm with a standard brooch back fitting spun onto the back for secure wearing.

Am currently also putting together some small working easels in Brass and Copper to make for the perfect combination. The piece of 'Wearable Art' fits snugly into place and becomes very secure. Great for display and still easy to send off as a gift.

The pieces have a brooch back 'Spun' on the back to be Very secure when worn out and about.
