A beautiful example of a very high quality vintage sterling silver hand engraved brooch. Beautifully hand made and fully hallmarked for Chester England 1953 It is 8.22 grams . This was most likely a name badge worn at a school. Uniforms and behaviour was very formal at this time. It is 15.5mm x 50.5mm so quite large. The back is quite rustic with a simple C clasp for the clasp.
Sourced from an estate auction it has been cleaned using professional cleaning supplies that retain the original vintage charm and shine.
