An absolutely wearable antique Edwardian 9ct Gold Brooch hallmarked as having been assayed in Chester England in 1905. It is set with seed pearls and two red gemstones..perhaps Garnets or perhaps Red Spinel stones ?

Unfortunately it is not perfect with one seed pearl missing.. but if you can acquire a tiny seed pearl..it would be a simple fix for most. It original was a rose gold piece with a yellow gold wash, but the yellow gold wash has largely worn away revealing the 9ct Rose gold.

The Brooches pin is not gold, but white metal.. possibly silver which is quite common with such pieces.

The brooch measures 44mm long by 16mm wide.

There is a makers mark of "M&V", and a date letter "E" for 1905.... and of course it is stamped "9", and "375" for 9ct Gold. Despite the missing seed pearl, it remains a lovely antique Jewellery piece.
