I'm just genuinely curious, the reserve has been etc and it's at just over NZ$360 yet, it is a stone with n insurance replacement price of over NZ$15,000...why would you sell it so cheaply?..it's got to be asked how you can do this and still make a profit. What on earth are YOU getting them for and how? This whole thing feels a bit suss, but I'm completely open to be convinced otherwise if you care to answer my questions here. they usually sell 35-35% off RRP insurance valuation prices. we buy at wholesale rates and some sell over cost some sell just under but it averages out over time, e.g. this auction will probably close nearer the $5k mark. Its a valid USD insurance replacment value, RRP may differ but this has no treatment. Thanks - A set ring of a 1ct at a lower colour and clarity grade can be $12k, the 1.20ct and grading is pretty near accurate for insurance indemnity value for the NZ market. frenchboutique (544) • Thursday, 8 May 2025
