Size (mm): 64 L x 28 W This bone carving is a beautiful piece of Maori jewellery. The shell inlay is Paua shell and adds another layer of beauty. This Maori necklace comes with a black wax cord. The height that the pendant hangs at can be adjusted using the sliding knots. Each carving is supplied loose in a plastic bag. Each piece is individually carved so slight variations can occur.
The Adze or Toki symbolizes strength as it represents the traditional Maori tool, whose blade had to be strong so as not to break when used.
