Pounamu Patu or Mere. Beautiful in the hand, superbly finished taonga tuturu. Has an edge but not sharp. Well balanced. Aotearoa stone, possibly Kawakawa or even Serpentine. Unsure about this. Either way it's a quality heirloom heritage piece at a good price.
