Niho Whiti – Tooth of the Rising Light Pounamu/Greenstone Niho (Tooth) made from a beautiful Nelson Pounamu/diopside mix.
The Niho Whiti pendant is a symbol of hope, new beginnings, and the guiding light that rises after darkness. Inspired by the word whiti, meaning to shine or rise (like the sun), this pendant embodies the strength and warmth that comes with enlightenment and growth.
Hand-carved from pounamu, its gentle hues reflect the first rays of light, offering a sense of renewal and clarity. Worn as a reminder of resilience, this piece carries the energy of transformation and a connection to the promise of each new day.
The Niho is a symbol of leadership, resilience, guardianship and protection.
I carved and polished it up to how it is today, as seen in the photos.
