It's a large size, solid white opal with flashes of mostly red & green, a small amount of blue. This opal is solid - it is NOT a doublet or triplet of a good size - 23x18mm. It is set in an ornate, stamped & professionally tested solid 9K old rose gold setting.

I've hung it on a chain of good length - 64cm in length. The chain is yellow gold (not rose gold). The chain is a modern piece, not an antique or vintage.

Total weight of both pendant and chain together is 10.4g. The pendant has some minor age wear but no significant issues. The chain is in excellent condition. Note that the brown marking on the opal is a natural inclusion in the mineral, not damage or staining.

Both pendant and chain are stamped/marked - but I have also had them tested by a local bullion trader using their XRF precious metals analysis equipment, to ensure the metal is solid, not plated, and of the purity specified. So you can buy with confidence knowing it's been professionally tested.
