New item from Waihalla, the afterlife for wood - hand made on Waiheke Island.
This wood block and striker are made from native New Zealand kanuka, a very hard and dense wood that lends itself to this application. The rear face retains the live edge of the wood, for a bit of rustic charm. Tone is around the A#5 mark.
Beeswax finish, block dimensions 213x74x38mm.
