The Makers were a band formed in Australia by ex-Split Enz keyboardist, Eddie Rayner, along with New Zealand musician and singer, Brian Baker. The duo formed in 1988 after recording the tracks for a feature film, Rikky and Pete. They released two albums, before disbanding in 1992, with Baker and Rayner pursuing solo careers.
