Singer Julee Cruise is best known for her soft, heavenly vocals and collaborations with film director David Lynch and soundtrack composer Angelo Badalamenti. This excellent debut album features a few songs from the Twin Peaks TV series including ‘Into The Night’, ‘The Nightingale’ and the gorgeously billowy ‘Falling’. The album also includes ‘Mysteries Of Love’ that featured in Lynch' s film Blue Velvet plus some other cool tunes such as ‘Floating’, ‘Rockin’ Back Inside My Heart’ and the creepily exquisite ‘Into The Night’.

This cassette version sounds incredible with crisp treble emphasising the swishing cymbals and reverbed guitar licks, an expansive mid-range full of warm guitar strums and swooning synths anchored by deep, luscious, longing bass. Definitely one of the best sounding cassettes I have heard!
