The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

One of the cats available is SYLVIE.

Friendly Sylvie is about 13 years old. An independent cat, her lovely whiskers make her look rather fierce but in fact she is a gentle homebody, a one-person kitty who will probably bond very closely to her new owner.

Sylvie has been used to a quiet mature home and will suit the same again. She came into CPL care when her owner moving overseas. In the past she has had surgery on a cruciate ligament (back leg) which has mended well.

Adopting an older cat can be very rewarding and they make great companions. Unlike younger cats, they tend not to wander off or get themselves into trouble. They are particularly suitable for owners who are less active and/or spend most of their time at home.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.
