Meet Chance
Approx. 18 months old | Male | Wide-stripe Ginger Tabby
When Chance came into care, he had a collar on so tight we had to cut it off. It was frayed, worn, and far too small — a heartbreaking reminder of a time when he was once someone’s pet… and then left behind.
We suspect he was abandoned when his family moved away, a fate far too common for cats like him. Now, with soulful, sad eyes and a heart full of quiet fear, Chance is trying to make sense of a world that hasn’t been kind to him lately.
We don’t know much about his past, and he’s not giving much away just yet. But under the worry and wariness, there’s something so gentle about him. We see glimpses of a sweet, soft soul who just needs time, love, and patience to feel safe again.
Chance is booked in for desexing, microchipping, and a full health check on Friday. He’ll also be treated for fleas and worms. After that, what he needs most is a warm home, kind hands, and someone who can show him that love still exists.
If you think you could be that someone, please send us a message with a little bit about yourself and the home you’d be offering. He's in foster care in Glenbrook.
Adoption fee of $100 applies.
