Paws Purrfection would like to introduce 15 motnh old Eugene from Rotorua

Eugene did not have the greatest start in life, found abandoned with his brother on the edge of the bush, they were scared and starving. After a member of the public noticed them a call for help was sent out and traps were set, sadly only Eugene was caught. Once rescued it was clear Eugene had been pretty abused, injuries and bruising on his abdomen suggested he had been kicked or squeezed on numerous occasions, he was initially absolutely terrified of humans and knitted up anyone who came near.

Although a little shy and reserved at first meeting, Eugene is an absolute smooch. A very tender and loving little cat, he loves to drool, purr and knead in your arms whilst he rubs his face all over yours. Hels come a very long way in the past few months since his rescue and done a lot of healing. However we have found his attitude towards men can be unpredictable, Some adult males are very triggering for him, we are not sure what that trigger is however, so we feel its best he be rehomed into a place with minimal adult male contact.

If you should adopt Eugene please be aware that he will need to be on lockdown in the house for a couple of months to give him time to get used to and trust his new people and environment. Eugene is looking for some humans who basically want a large furry baby, he's a bit of a sooky cat who loves to be held, cuddled and to feel safe with his humans. He's a very special young man looking for a very special home who understand who he is.

Eugene is toilet and house trained, de-sexed,, microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatment. He is currently living as an in/outdoor cat, dog, kid and cat friendly. Adoption fee does apply. Eugene has been waiting for his home far to long and is now available on a discounted adoption price as we simply want him to find a good home.
