Behold! Two stunning orange chonks! Buddy and Chester are unrelated but they do seemingly share a communal ginger brain cell! They like to greet each other with friendly head butts and boops and have been known to snuggle on the sofa together, offering reciprocal washes. Though both playful, they are different in nature. Chester being the younger is a bit busier (typical ginger flavoured bonkers). Whilst Buddy being slightly older is a bit more grounded and laid back.

Both are TOTAL foodies and this will be one of the best and quickest ways to win the boys over. Chester hasn’t worked out how to take treats from your hand yet and still sweetly stares at the floor waiting for it to drop! Buddy on the other hand maintains the most beautiful eye contact and takes them SUPER gently between his teeth.

Both lads come to greet us for pats when we arrive, they love a good chin and back scratch. Chester is more forthcoming and approaches us for affection at other times. And, Buddy is gaining confidence in receiving pats every day. We know once in their own home, with calm consistency you will be rewarded with smooches. Homing the boys together will offer them the confidence and companionship they will need to settle more quickly. They have only ever been inside (due to the confines of the rescue) once settled we know they would love to explore outdoors – so indoor/outdoor flow is a must. Chester was found as a kitten in the back of an Indian Spice Store in Mangere and Buddy was rescued as a kitten off of a colony site in Favona. Probably best as the only pets if homed together.

Desexed, microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatments.

Adoption fee $200 or $350 for a pair applies.

Please note we do not operate on a first come first served basis and will wait to find the right forever home for each cat or kitten. We prefer to home cats in the Auckland area to avoid stressful long distance travel.
