Eep! Male Approx 4 years Fostered in Birkenhead
Eep (named due to the cute little ‘eep!’ meow he has) is such a unique cat both in looks and character. This little sweetheart had a wicked cat flu as a kitten, which has led to significant scarring in one of his eyes. This gives it a beautiful ghosty blue colour but doesn’t seem to impact his vision. His other eye is in perfect condition and he manages just fine at playtime (although the naughty laser, one of Eep’s favourite, still proves illusive!).
Despite his playful streak, we’ve found that Eep tends to get overlooked on open days. He is a content, chilled little guy who tends to get overshadowed by the crowd-pleasing extroverts in the cattery. He is your typical sun seekin, treat loving cruiser. But Eep has so much love to give and has grown so much in confidence, he really needs someone to see him for the cool dude he is! He loves attention; head rubs and full body strokes and purrs quietly. If given a chance in his own home, we know that affectionate side will have an opportunity to blossom.
He is great around other cats and he may tolerate a well behaved, equally chilled dog. Best with older kids (as he has not been fostered with them). After the settling in period, we’d love for Eep to be able to enjoy outdoor life.
Up to date with flea and worm treatments.
Adoption fee $200 or $350 if adopted with another cat or kitten
Please note we do not operate on a first come first served basis and will wait to find the right forever home for each cat or kitten. We prefer to home cats in the Auckland area to avoid stressful long distance travel.
