Coast to Coast Cat Rescue - Bay of Islands

Two years ago, we rehomed these two sisters to a lovely man in Opua. A few weeks ago, he made contact to say he didn't have long to live, so could we bring his beloved cats back into care. Of course, there was no hesitation on our part, and here we are now ?? Rest in peace, Jake.

Blue, the ginger fluffy female, is confident and outgoing. Good with other cats. Lulu, the calico tortie, is shyer and will take a little while to settle.

Both are affectionate and sweet and grieving for their dad. If you think you could open your home and heart to one or both of these gorgeous girls, please get in touch with us.

A re-homing contribution is charged to help us recoup part of the cost of your pet's care during their stay with us, but by no means does this cover the full cost.

Coast to Coast Cat Rescue is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of cats. All of our funds go towards the welfare of these cats for food and vet care. They will receive a vet check, are desexed, vaccinated, mircochipped (this is also registered on the NZ Companion Animal Register for you) and full flea and worm treatments.

Our team of volunteers work hard to assess their personality and likes/dislikes so we can pair them up with their fur-ever home. Because of this we do have a re-homing process to go through. So please ask Sam for an application form to get this under way.
