Hi, my name is Sophie
I am approximately 1.5 years old and – well, look at me – am I not THE prettiest Calico you have ever set eyes on?
I was surrendered to the NZ Cat Foundation because I was pregnant. I went to a really lovely foster home where I had my five babies (who will be up for adoption soon), and I have been fostered for three months. I am chatty, loving, and like to follow you around all day so I can be part of the family. I really enjoy staring at my people – trying to look in to their souls. I am very gentle and easy going and will be fine with kids who are cat savvy. I would love it if my new peeps were home a lot! Then we can cat chat – a lot!
I am originally from a home with another cat, but I have been quite protective of my babies in my foster home (naturally), so I will need gentle and patient introduction to other animals in my new abode…I LOVE the doggo that lives in my foster home – he’s a very good boy when it comes to respecting feline boundaries.
I am desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. I do not have any nasties like fleas and worms
I am litter box trained. I would need to be kept indoors at least two to three weeks minimum to acclimate to my new surroundings, and then a supervised introduction to the outdoors is recommended.
If you would like to meet me, please make contact. There is a $200 adoption fee which goes to the NZ Cat Foundation to help continue their amazing work rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming kittens and cats. You will also be required to complete an application form prior to meeting me so we can be sure I am a good match for you.
