Sylvie Female Approx 7 years Fostered in Birkenhead, Auckland.

This stunning little lady was picked up as a sick teen off a colony in Avondale. That was around 7 years ago. Preferring the smaller space of our foster room (away from the crowd) she has offered a steady, calm presence to the droves of kittens and transitory cats that have come and gone. But this beautiful girl can’t be there for others forever and lately Sylvie has been giving us more and more signs that she too is ready to have a family and a home of her very own. And we agree, enough of being overlooked darling Sylvie, your people are out there and we shall find them…

Sylvie is a gorgeous contradiction; grounded, gentle, mature (even a bit enigmatic) on one hand – and on the other, a savage predator around elasticated toys and ping pong balls! All that time supervising kittens has meant she has definitely retained her playful and fun nature. She reminds us of that wise grandma who spoke a little but saw a lot and yet wasn’t afraid to make mud pies with the grandkids. Sylvie enjoys the simple things in life.. a good pat and a good feed and is very engaging and affectionate once she trusts you. To give realistic expectations, Sylvie has been at the rescue all her life. A home of her own will be a big change (though a GOOD one!) and she will need patience, consistency and lots of love to help settle.

Desexed, microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatments.

Adoption fee $200 or $350 if adopted with another cat or kitten
