Weighing in at only 3kg, Duchess punches way above her weight in the looks department.

She is a fluffy little number (a domestic medium hair) - but not too fluffy that she will require lots of grooming. However that gorgeous coat of hers and the whiskers that go on forever, plus the furry ear whispers all add up to a cat that makes you just want to pick her up and give her a squishy hug!

When Duchess first came to us, she hid from us - on the floor of her room, tucked around a corner, then high up and hard up against the wall. It took time for her to realise that the bed on offer out in the open was super comfy, no one was going to hurt her or push her to do anything she didn't want to do, and pats, quiet chats and hugs are all good things.

Now she purrs when you cuddle her and it's heartening to see her enjoying her bed and her toys. She still eyes up strangers with some suspicion and will hide under anything close to the floor if she is caught out in the Catio area - but at least she is venturing out of her room, and she will accept pats from unfamiliar folk.

She too flew through her vet check and the general consensus is that she is young - around 2 years old. Now desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and wormed she is ready to take the next step in her life. She is on the lookout for a very quiet home where she can take time to get to know her new family at her own pace.
