Description

8 years old

Approximately eight years of age, Lucy is a fluffy sweet-natured girl who loves pats and cuddles, especially on your bed at night. She is vocal and chirpy (and will let you know when she is hungry!).

She is an anxious girl who needs some time to get used to you, but once she is comfortable she will be your best friend. When we adopted her she had been used to living wild for a long time (it was thought her previous owners had left her behind). Lucy has had a history of running away (back to her 'comfort place' of the wild), so she needs to be an indoor-only cat for at least the first six months.

Although we hoped she would get used to living with our two other cats, she never adapted to them despite slow introductions and is unhappy any time she sees them. She has a real fear response around other cats, so we feel she needs a home where she can be an 'only cat'. We would love to keep Lucy but have come to the decision that rehoming her is best for her own well-being.

Requirements for Lucy:

  • A home with no other cats or dogs
  • An indoor-only home (for at least the first six months)

Lucy is microchipped, vaccinated, flea/wormed and desexed. She is registered on the New Zealand pet register. She has had a recent full blood-check in the last two weeks and everything came back normal.

Let us know if you may be Lucy's future family! (Text or message).
