"Cosmo" and "Ivy" are bonded brother and sister and must be adopted together.
Cosmo and Ivy are 2.5 years old and have been in foster care since 5mths old.
Ivy became friendly quickly but poor Cosmo was very shut down. He didn't hiss or swipe but was very unresponsive. He would accept pats but didn't enjoy them. It took a year and a half before be finally purred for me! He is such a special boy and Ivy is his brave so they have to stay together.
They are both quite nervous of people they don't know but once they have settled into their new home they will relax and their personalities will shine!
Ivy loves attention and chin scratches - she walks up to you on her little tip toes and arches her back for pats! She will purr and purr for you.
Now that Comso likes pats he loves rubbing around your feet to get more! He is such a gorgeous boy and will be the most loyal loving man.
They are both very sweet, very sensitive cats and need to go to a quiet home with lots of love and patience. They are fine with other gentle cats (Cosmo has been attacked by one of our cats so he greets new ones with caution) and they are great with our dogs - so cat savvy dogs are fine. But no young kids in the family - if you have grandkids that come to visit that's ok just make sure that Cosmo and Ivy have a safe quiet place away from them.
Cosmo and Ivy are desexed and microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatments. They had one kitten vaccination when they were younger but not the booster and none since. It will be up to the new owners to decide if they want to vaccinate or not - but will need to leave it a good 6 mths or so until they are really settled and comfortable before doing that. They are extremely healthy cats and have never caught any illness or cat flu in their life.
There is a $100 adoption fee for these beautiful siblings subject to a satisfactory adoption application.
