Hi, I am a beautiful and quite unusual black smoke tabby. I was adopted with my brother from Gutter Kitties as kittens, four years ago, and until about a year ago, lived together with our dad. Unfortunately, our dad has passed away. My brother has been rehomed and it turns out, I do better as an only child. Dogs are NOT my vibe. I am shy and guarded but once I feel safe in my environment, I am chatty, friendly, nosey and playful. I REALLY love food, making biscuits, giving robust headbutts, cuddling on a lap, and cat napping. I am looking for my “furever” home where I can settle in and be the prince of the family. I like to be around legs and I don’t want to be a trip hazard, but I might be for someone unsteady on their feet, so that’s probably the only thing to be aware of. Oh, I do have a tendency to hold my weight – hey – I’m a big boned boy, so I need to be kept an eye on…not too many treaties apparently but I won’t tell if you don’t…shhhh. I am litter trained, neutered, vaccinated, flea and worm free and microchipped. I am available for adoption FREE but only to the right family, and it would be nice if a small donation could be made to an animal charity on my behalf. My new family would need to be able to keep me indoors for a few weeks while I acclimate to my new surroundings, and give me lots of support with those changes. In return, I promise to tell you about my day, shed kitty glitter (fur) everywhere, possibly take over a bed and/or pillow, supervise while you do the chores, and alert you when my bowls are unacceptably empty!
