I'm helping to rehome two very special cats. They have been treasured members of a family but their owner is now no longer able to care for them. It's important they go to loving homes where they'll be understood and cared for.

Luna is creamy coloured with tabby markings and is an Exotic (short haired Persian) who is about 13 years old. Luna is a friendly social cat who thrives on attention and affection. She'll happily attach herself to anyone who gives her love. Luna was originally the daughter's cat - but the owner has cared for her ever since his daughter moved to Australia 10 years ago. She enjoys both indoor and outdoor living and would do well in a variety of households - including families. Luna is adaptive and easygoing, always looking for a lap to curl up on or a sunny spot in the garden.

Kiri is a black and white girl about 13 years old - she is a gentle, quiet soul who was originally adopted from the SPCA as a kitten. She belonged to the mans late wife and Kiri grew very attached to him after his wife's passing. Kiri is very timid and will need a calm, quiet home - ideally with one or two patient adults who can give her plenty of time to settle in. She quite content staying indoors and can use a litter tray but prefers to toilet outside. She's not suited to a busy household or one with young children. With time, patience and love Kiri will form a deep loyal bond.

Both cats are in good health for their age, desexed and flea and worm treated. I don't think they are microchipped but I can give the new owners microchips and it only costs $15 for a vet to insert at at their next appt.

While they have lived together they aren't bonded so can be adopted together or separately to the right home (and completion of an adoption application form). Preference will be given to anyone able to adopt both of them.
