Meeka is about 4 and a half years old. He has been living with his foster mum but now needs his own home and family.

Meeka can be very cheeky at times, with an attitude to match. He's a very friendly cat and is always keen to meet new people. Being a sociable cat he will hang around for attention and make sure you notice he's there! He is such a lap cat and also loves to snuggle in bed with you!

Meeka is full of life and has to investigate everything. He will sneak into your pot cupboard or your pantry when you're not looking, climb into a box or bag especially if he knows there's food around.

Meekas a loyal cat and likes to stay close. He will follow you into the bathroom and sit on your lap. He loves to watch you have a shower and will wait patiently while you have one.

As Meeka likes all the attention he would suit a loving family and children to play with. He is better suited as an only cat as he likes to be Boss.

He has medium long hair but he is good at grooming and his fur doesn't tangle easily although he might come in with small sticks and bits stuck in his coat sometimes. He will need the odd brush from time to time to make sure there are no small tangles and he actually likes being brushed - the small wire slicker brushes are great for getting rid of any loose fur.

Meeka is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. There is a $200 adoption fee which helps the Cat Foundation continue to rescue and rehome other cats.
