This honey of a cat has a PhD in head bunts!
Apollonia - or Loni as she is known to her friends and family - is very, very affectionate. She likes to stay close to her people and greets them with an enthusiastic, slightly damp, head bunt and nose rub. Not so visitors however - she will disappear and return only when they have left.
Interestingly if you are sad, she will stay close to you - preferring to sit on a lap or as close to your head as possible. She has a wonderful purr on her and will flop on her back for a pat.
Her hobbies include helping out with the gardening, climbing trees and catching rodents - the latter for which she expects to be acknowledged for her successes! She has lived on a farm, will not roam - preferring instead to be close to the family - and is loving and playful towards dogs.
Loni's previous family has moved to Australia to care for family there. While they had planned to bring Loni across to them once they had settled into a permanent home, this is taking far longer than expected and when Loni was badly bitten (on her back foot) and required urgent medical intervention, they decided that it would be in her best interests to find her another equally caring home in NZ, sooner rather than later, to ensure her ongoing safety and happiness.
Loni is desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, defleaed and wormed and has clearly been much loved throughout her 8 years. If you would like to have a chat about her, contact her Honorary Aunty Helen 0274 070 659 or catsncare@gmail.com
