Bella (Identifies as Bridget Jones…..chaotic, funny, voluptuous):

Dear Diary,

It is a truth universally acknowledged… that I am a complete & utter disaster. Today I knocked over the water AGAIN. And the drama! Climbed the cat tree..fell off. Somersaulted off the sofa (again). Hid under the blanket to recover what little dignity I have left. Ate biscuits. Slept. Repeat.

Just because I am clumsy, it doesn’t mean that I don’t have the highest of standards right?!? I mean Biscuit bowl empty—tragic. Litter tray not pristine—scandalous.

Winston (Identifies as Mark Darcy – soulful, handsome, utterly devoted):

Dear Diary,

I watched Bella today with quiet devotion. She is chaos. She knocks over water, falls off cat trees, and talks endlessly. And yet… I cannot help it. “I like her very much. Just the way she is.”

They say I’m handsome, with my big paws, long tail & steady gaze — though perhaps a little serious at times. Bella calls me aloof, a bit of a stick-in-the-mud….but secretly she knows I am her anchor. I may not chatter, I may not leap headfirst into calamity — but I am the one who stays, the one who watches, the one who is always there when she tumbles.

I am the quiet one—the steady presence with the soulful eyes. The handsome shadow who balances her sparkle with calm. She may be dramatic but she is mine to watch over. Always.

She is Jones. I am Darcy. She talks, I listen. She somersaults, I supervise. She causes drama, I stay. But we both agree: belly rubs are essential.

A note from Bella & Winston’s foster Mum - Bella & Winston are not used to roads, so their ideal home would be on a property with plenty of space or an indoor only/catio situation. They are not used to other pets or children & they are not overly fond of being picked up - although both are super friendly & loving.
