Description
7 years old
One cold winter night, 2019, Lucy May came to us. Asking for food and a warm place. We adopted her. A week later, we realized she's pregnant. She gave birth to two kittens. One of them died (doctors put him to sleep) because of a birth defect. The other one grew large and healthy.
Lucy May doesn't get along with her kitten. She wants a quiet life, but the kitten is still energetic and crazy. We went through a series of training so they can live together under one roof.
However, with the addition of our daughter, Lucy May can't find peace. Even though our daughter is very gentle with our cats, it still means the house is not as quiet as she likes it to be.
As Lucy May is getting older, we realized it's better for her if we send her to a quiet house. It's a hard decision. We want her to stay. But we can imagine her life would become harder and harder here.
We don't know her exact birth date because she was a stray. But at the time, with consultations of vets, we decided she wasn't more than one year old when she came to us.
She's an outdoor cat. Staying inside will drive her crazy!
She's not a lap cat. But she comes and lies next to you and let you pet her. She can't have enough of these!
