The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

One of the cats available is KRISTAL.

Lovely Kristal is about 16 years old. Timid at first, she is an independent-minded senior who enjoys handling on her own terms and will bond closely to one special person (she used to sleep with her owner). She will best suit a quiet adult home with no other pets and a patient new owner.

Adopting an older cat can be very rewarding and they make great companions. They are less likely to wander or get in trouble than youngsters. They are particularly suitable for owners who are less active and/or spend most of their time at home.

Kristal was surrendered to CPL when her elderly owner moved from a retirement village into a rest home where pets were not allowed.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.

Our website is http://www.cats.org.nz and the cattery is situated at 14 Charlesworth Street, Woolston. It is open 11.00am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, 11.00am to 3.00pm Saturday.
