Hi there, I’m Courage!
When I was a baby, I caught a virus that left me with a neurological condition. It means I’m a bit slower to react and have reduced vision, so if I bump into things or stare into space, don’t worry, I’m just watching fairies! It doesn’t stop me from loving life!
I’m a big fan of calm furry friends, especially cats who can show me the ropes and help me stick to my daily routine. I love cuddles, but I have my own special ritual - circling, kneading... you get it.
Playtime is serious business for me! I love to throw toys in the air and wrestle them like a tiny tiger. Sometimes I get a bit overexcited - I’m still learning my limits, but my enthusiasm is unmatched.
Now, I have a little confession… litter trays confuse me. They’re just too small and strange! I much prefer using nappy pads - my foster says I’m “working on it.”
Routine is really important to me, and I feel safest in calm, familiar spaces. An indoor-only home would be perfect for me, especially one with a catio where I can continue my favourite hobby - sunbathing!
Even though I’m a slim little guy, I LOVE my food - especially raw meat! Sometimes my excitement gets the better of me, and a bit of food ends up on the floor instead of my tummy (oops!).
I’m happiest when someone’s nearby to keep me company. I’m very affectionate on my terms - chin rubs and head scratches are my absolute weakness!
Sometimes when I get a bit nervous or overstimulated, my front leg gets stuck behind my head in a funny way. It doesn’t stop me from doing zoomies, climbing scratching posts, or causing mischief, though! I just need a patient human who understands me and can give me time to calm down if I get grumpy. Food bribes always help, too.
If you’re looking for a sunshine-loving boy with a hint of sass - I might be your perfect match.
