The Cats Protection League is a registered charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens. You are welcome to visit our cattery where our experienced staff will introduce you to cats who will fit your lifestyle and be a pleasure to own. Cats are individuals so please do not be offended if we steer you towards cats other than the one that first caught your eye.

Among the cats available are PHOENIX & KYRO (adoption fee is for both).

Brothers Phoenix and Kyro are about 1 year old. Sweet but shy, they are affectionate once they know you and will blossom into a playful pair in a quiet, loving home. They may be okay with a dog (please note that we may ask to see how they get on before agreeing to an adoption) and will benefit from an extended period indoors to settle. They are closely bonded and we would like them to be adopted together.

Phoenix and Kyro came into CPL care as stray teens, and their confidence has come on by leaps and bounds at the cattery. They developed sore gums while cutting their adult teeth and are on medication to deal with this. Please ask our rehoming staff for details.

All our cats have been vet checked, desexed, tested for feline aids and leukaemia, wormed, defleaed, microchipped and vaccinated. We will always take them back if it does not work out.

Our website is http://www.cats.org.nz and the cattery is situated at 14 Charlesworth Street, Woolston. It is open 11.00am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Friday and Sunday, 11.00am to 3.00pm Saturday.
