Izzy needs a foster home or forever home urgently. Maybe you could foster her first to see how she fits into your family with a view to adopting her??

Izzy had been adopted with another cat but she doesn't get on with the other cat at all which is causing a lot of tension. He adoptive mum is having to move house and Izzy needs somewhere to live asap.

Izzy is about 2 years old and is a beautiful, sleek, black cat with stunning light green eyes.

She is playful and will roll around her scratch pole and chew on it! If she is underneath something ie the bed she will pounce on your feet in play.

Izzy is a very good girl, she doesn't scratch furniture or curtains and uses a litter box.

She is not a confident cat and quite timid and shy - she must have had some bad experiences before being rescued. Izzy gets frightened easily by fast movements and will duck when she doesnt know you are going to pat her. She does sometimes still hiss but this is coming from a place of fear rather than aggression. But once she is in a home where she is the only cat and overtime when she learns to trust and bond to her new family she will come out of her shell. She needs someone who is used to rescue cats or who has lots of time, love and patience.

Izzy loves being petted on the side of the face and under the chin. She also loves temptation treats and food is the way to Izzys heart!

Once she has settled in to her new home and used to her new family she will sit beside you on the couch and ion your knee. She has had moments like this at her adopted home but not getting on with the other cat has been a big problem. But once in her own quiet home with no other cats, no dogs and no young children, she will thrive.
