Latte really is the whole package, Smart beautiful and funny! Latte is a 5.5 year staffy mix rescued from the Christchurch city council shelter May 2021

A few things to know about Latte:

From the Christchurch City Council Shelter to our hearts, this super smart 5.5-year Staffy x girl stole our affection the moment she arrived.

Personality: It's not just her intelligence that captivates us; it's her loving and playful nature that truly shines. With a little guidance from our behaviour team, she's blossomed into a wonderfully affectionate young lady. While self-control was once a challenge, she's made remarkable progress.

Training: Miss Latte isn't just a pretty face – she's one smart cookie with a bag full of tricks! Sit, down, stay, come, middle, touch, drop... you name it, she knows it! Latte is also crate and toilet trained.

Children: Experienced older dog savvy children who understand doggy manners.  (13+)

Cats: Not suited to a home with cats or other small animals.

Social Skills: Although Miss Latte prefers the spotlight to herself and isn't a fan of other furry friends (except for some young male dogs), but her nurturing side comes out when there are puppies around – it's simply adorable!

In the home: While outings require a muzzle for safety, at home, she's a caring guardian. Secure fencing and containment are essential for her security and happiness.

Homing support: Latte will have a homing plan, and his new family will be supported by our experienced team and behaviour consultants to transition her to her new home.
