Huey

Huey joined our family in November 2019 when we adopted him from Auckland Puppy Rescue. Since then, he's brought so much joy to our lives, but as our schedules have become busier, we've found it harder to give him the attention and exercise he needs, especially with the addition of kids.

Huey is wonderful around children, and we've never had any issues with him being around little ones. However, we believe he would thrive best in a home with another high-energy dog to keep him active and engaged.

We tried sending him to doggy daycare for a while, but his energy levels were so high that they recommended he attend four days a week. Unfortunately, the cost of $160 per week wasn't something we could continue at the time, so we decided to remove him from daycare. Despite that, Huey gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playtime with them.

Huey is due for his next round of vaccinations, and he will come fully vaccinated upon adoption. We're confident he'll make a great addition to the right home!

We believe that he is a Staffy x Grey hound due to his size and speed but we have never had him DNA tested.
