I’m Maggie, the 1 year old, female, Border Collie.

Good with dogs: Yes. Good with cats: Unknown. Good with stock. Unknown. Good with children: Older children preferred as I’m a bouncy, girl.

Let me tell you a little story.

Once upon a time, I was a scared, pregnant pup in the pound. Fast forward through a dramatic emergency vet visit (with bonus pre-eclampsia plot twist), a life-saving c-section, some really confusing mothering attempts (turns out, I wasn’t ready for that part), a cancer scare and surgery… and boom—here I am. Stronger, happier, sassier, and so ready to find my forever home!

Now, let’s talk about me—the real me. I am:

• Super smart – I pick up new commands faster than most people find their keys. I love learning, especially if there’s a treat, a kind word, or a cuddle waiting at the end.
• A total sweetheart – I live for couch snuggles, belly rubs, and being told I'm a good girl (because I am).
• Crate trained and toilet trained – I'm the definition of house-ready.
• A pro on the lead – No pulling, just classy strolling. And my recall is getting better by the day – try calling me when you’ve got my favourite treat or toy... you’ll see.
• Toy obsessed – Especially my rubber ball (I bring it and I leave it, like a boss), and my tuggy teddy. We have intense wrestling matches. I usually win.
• An outdoor enthusiast – Beach? Bush walk? Tramping adventure? YES PLEASE. If you’re into the active lifestyle, I’m already halfway into your car.

I may have had a rocky start, but I’ve come a long way. I’m affectionate, loyal, and I just want a family to call my own—people who love me, play with me, snuggle me, and take me exploring.
