Needs new residents asap I have far to much going on to Iron out behaviours.

Often I take in dogs for rehoming due to absolutely no fault of their own.

This fella has been returned to me after killing chickens at his new home he was there only 4 weeks and prior to that here almost 3 weeks and it’s unfair to his situation for him to board here with no future in sight.

This fella Male - recently Desexed 1 year old Vaccinated , Council registered and microchip.

Friendly happy go lucky boy , wound up in the pound in Southland before Christmas and has sat there for almost 3months - finally a break to freedom last month and here is what I can tell you about him.

He is a bit bold at first with entire males but knowing he’s just out of the pound then I’d love the freedom too.

He recalls very well , interacting well with all dogs x16 of working type dogs border collie. Sits when asked , goes to the kennel when asked , over all he’s a very good boy all things considered. Super nice nature.

He stays within the dog yard boundary which is sheep netting.

Eats his dinner well and normally pretty quiet in his kennel.

Very athletic type body I wonder if he’s something like 3/4 lab 1/4 pointer.

I feel he would suit a semi rural home or some sort of gundog home where his breed is best suited.
