Potentially have a new home

Jax and Oreo are two loving dogs needing new homes. They are both desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, registered for the Selwyn district and given an all clear bill of health.

Meet and greets are recommended, to make sure you're the right home for them. Jax has beef allergies. So needs a beef free diet.

They need a very kind and compassionate home with no small children or rabbits. They both have anxieties but with the right owner they'll settle in and you'll learn what worries them.

Jax is terrified of fireworks and thunder storms. He will hide with you and he will cry. I have a jacket that I put on him that is tighter (like a hug). He knows the jacket and will let you put it on him and then cuddle with you. He thinks he's a lap dog.

Oreo has been raised with Jax, so has picked up similar behaviors from Jax, hence why she has anxiety too. She will take a little more patience with changing to new home as she stops eating when she's not with us. So you would need to be patient with her. We are aware of this and would talk with potential new owners about how we can adjust her to your new home environment.

Both dogs LOVE to run and swim at the rivers etc. they will chase you around in the water if you are in a blow up boat. They just love it. And runs down the grass verge of country roads, are a huge hit with them both.

Both DO NOT like baths at all. So to get around this, I took dog soap to the river and washed them there and threw sticks into the water to wash them off.

Been raised with teenagers and been around chickens and other dogs. They aren't fans of yappy little dogs.

Jax is 5, his birthday is 9 September, 2019. Oreo is 4. Her birthday is 12th November, 2020.
