Bay Of Islands Animal Rescue proudly presents...Sadie!!! Meet Sadie, a sweet and clever 7-month-old Hunterway X looking for her forever home. Sadie is loving, eager to please, and very smart—she’d thrive in an active home, possibly with agility, obedience training, or even low-key stock work. She’s incredibly kind and patient with young children and great around horses and chickens. While a little nervous with new people and dogs, she gains confidence from her handler and improves with practice. Sadie is housetrained, responds well to guidance, and will need full-height fencing to keep her safe. She’ll make a loyal, loving companion.

As with all rescue dogs, Sadie will need some time to settle in and will need some further training, she will be de-sexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, treated for parasites and in good health when she goes to her forever home. Adoption Donation Applies

HOW WE WORK We rescue and rehabilitate unwanted and abandoned animals, teaching them to trust again so they can find loving forever homes. Our team provides hands-on care, assessing temperament and beginning training to set them up for success. Once ready, they are placed in foster care to continue their journey before being adopted.

We follow a strict rehoming process, including property checks, to ensure our animals find the best possible homes.

Your new pet will come with a welcome pack that includes (when available) food, treats, and their very own collar and lead. Plus, we offer a two-week trial period to ensure the perfect fit—for both the adopter and the animal.
