Description
Jackie is waiting at the Tasman Dog Pound looking for his new home, he’s probably a collie x with maybe some German Shepherd in his make-up. We think he’s around 5 years old. Sleek and well groomed he’s a good looking fellow who seems to be used to people, cars and other dogs.
Jackie’s clever and because of the collie in his make-up he will need physical and mental stimulation. He listens well, responds to his new name and he’s nice to walk on lead with a harness. With Jackie we don’t need to worry about runners, walkers or bikes he’s happy to let them race past him.
Jackie’s photos don't do him justice but they do show him out and about on his walk, behind bars at the Pound and with his new doggy friends. We’ve taken Jackie walking down Queen Street, he chatted to people at the Babayaga Coffee cart at one end, to others along the way and then to more people at Helova Coffee at the other end of Queen Street. On another break from the Dog Pound he had a lovely time visiting friends in Bunnings.
Jackie will be desexed once we arrange for foster care, he’s been vaccinated, wormed and flea’d, microchipped. For an interview please ring The Tasman Dog Pound 03 543 7012.
