Freddie is an exceptionally sweet and gentle soul with a very calm nature.

He quietly observes the world around him, taking everything in with thoughtful curiosity.

He is happy to play independently with toys or to just relax. He is a confident pup who will happily explore independently but will always check in with you and comes running when he is called. He looks to his humans and older dogs for guidance and you can see his brain working out how things work.

Freddie joins his foster mum at work each day, so he's already had wonderful socialization with people of all ages, other animals, new environments, sights and sounds He takes it all in his stride - calm, relaxed, and unfazed by all the attention his cuteness earns him (and there’s a lot of it!). He stays calm and relaxed.

He gets along beautifully with dogs big and small, and even the cat. He’s respectful and intuitive, reading social cues well — knowing when it’s time to play and when to give space. Often, he’ll simply settle nearby, content just to be close.

This smart pup knows several commands and he’s mastering more each day. He responds wonderfully to praise, pats, treats, and even has a whistle recall.

He is perfect in the car and toileting is going well, if there is free access to the yard he will take himself out. He is still learning to let you know if the door is closed.

He is crate trained and sleeps peacefully right through the night without accidents.

Being a border collie, he’ll need plenty of mental and physical stimulation, but in return, he will be the most loving, loyal, and joyful companion you could ask for.
