With a heavy heart and tears running down my face, I have come to the extremely difficult decision to re-home my dog.

After a tough divorce, and family illness, my three young kids and I have had to move into my parents house to help look after my aging father who has dementia.

Abby is a 14yo Ridgeback X Whippet who loves to run and sniff everything in nature.

Due to her age, she has some issues like arthritis, skin tags etc which make her a bit apprehensive towards being touched across her body, but will generally let you pat her head after some time with her.

My young daughter has also developed an allergy to dogs and cats so keeping Abby around her is not an option.

My parents home is too small for her, and the time I have to look after her has drastically reduced as I am a single father. My kids are very young so looking after them, as well as my parents leaves no time for me to give Abby the attention she deserves.

I'm hoping for a nice person to take her on and give her walks etc I can also cover any medication she may need.
