Rehoming due to moving over seas.

"Toka" collie x huntaway (10years )smaller boy out of the two.

"Red" huntaway husky (8years ).

I adopted these two beautiful boys 9 years ago, a year apart, both about the age of 9 months old,

Extremely heart breaking decision to make but my wife, 3 kids and I are moving over seas to travel while we are all young still.

Toka and I took Red under our wing and have taught him how to have manners with a very calm nature, they are both extremely gentle and content!

Neither of these two have ever thought about getting defensive, with humans, cats or other dogs, any bad sign from another dog they will turn and walk away.

Although they are huntaways they do not bark!

The odd bark here and there if something is very strange or they see a possum or they are waiting for you to throw a stick while playing.

These two have always been outside dogs (Do love a night by the fire tho!)

Prompts-
come. sit. paw. other paw. stay. up. down. over. off. wait. car. Water" means ( to go in for a swim). More" means to drink or eat more). heel" for please dont pull on the lead. Car horn" (when running them with the vehicle, One toot, or two when they being stubborn.)

Our favorite -"Skisss skisss Where's the rabbits"

With right tone they will do all of these without hesitation, theres absolutely no need to raise your voice!

Pros- Suckers for a pet.(pat) Good recall. ( can be stubborn sometimes if over excited) Sleep outdoors. Intelligent. Brilliant with kids!!! Fine with cats. Used to being on a ute or in the car. Lead trained. Great rabbit control on rural properties. Naturals at navigating obstacle courses. Don't need running everyday, never have so thats what they expect. Fed once a day at night time. Both dogs are in very good health. Cons- Toka hates fire works. Can't trust them with sheep. If the gate is left open they will go for a very lengthy sniff around the area, they have always come home.
