Description
Meet Shar! My approx 4yr old whippet cross. Shar came into my life over a year ago now and although started as a foster, soon became part of the family.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that I must now re home her due to my own personal health conditions and living arrangements.
Shar is spayed and microchipped. She is SUCH a cuddle bug! She started life as a hunting dog (prior to her life with me) but it was not the career for her, being afraid of gun fire and having the tendency to curl up and snooze with lambs and other animals.
She is now very much an inside dog (even though she had never stepped foot inside a house until coming to me. Her favorite places are the bed and sofa and LOVES to curl up with you whenever/wherever possible.
She would suit a variety of homes, families, individuals, retired humans, homes with other animals (though she may take a hot minute to overcome the Whippet timid nature specifically around cats). She is quite content chilling most of the time but really does need to be allowed to have a good run every day, whether that be at the dog park, forest, beach etc. I have not yet lead trained her however, even though she does pull, it's not all that hard. She is great off lead and comes to a whistle (and her name) and will often come back around and walk beside you on her own accord after a good sniff around.
She is honestly such a joy to have around and has the kindest of natures. She will only be given to a good, good home. If you feel as though you have the space in your heard to give her all the love, please reach out and ask all the questions
