Maisy is an energetic and intelligent dog who thrives on both mental and physical stimulation. Unfortunately, we’re no longer in a position to meet the level of activity she needs, and this has led to some restlessness and occasional destructive behavior. We believe she deserves more than we’re currently able to give, and our decision to rehome her comes from a place of deep love and a desire to prioritise her well-being.
Maisy is a young, energetic, and affectionate dog (estimated under 2 years old). Her exact breed is unknown, but she may be some kind of heading dog crossed with a Foxy.
She would do best in an active home with a secure yard, someone who has time to devote to training and play.
Maisy’s Best Traits: ? Loves swimming, playing, and running for sticks ? Great recall – fantastic off-lead! ? Generally good with other dogs (can be a little dominant but has just been desexed, so this may settle) ? Loves cuddles and is a great guard dog ? Fully vaccinated & desexed
Areas for Further Training:
- Needs more lead training – she still pulls but then settles after a while. If she sees another dog or cat on the lead she gets very excited and pulls extra hard.
- Can be overly protective if feeling threatened or not sure.
Maisy would thrive in an active home where she gets plenty of love, exercise, and continued training. She truly is a wonderful companion and deserves a family or a farm lifestyle that can give her the time and attention she needs. I would prefer she went to someone local so we can check our their property to see if it's suitable.
