Our lovely Yogi bear just wants to be your best guy. Yogi is house trained and crate trained. He would do well with a calm, settled bitch to show him the ropes, but he's not a desperately social dog: he prefers the company of humans.

He can be anxious in a new place without someone to help him settle, which translates to barky and pacey- he's not at all fearful.

He is happy to meet or ignore small dogs out and about, and stock etc, but really enjoys a calm environment, with people to love him. He is absolutely not into the nightclub scene (ie dogparks).

He likes kids, but he is quite big and can be pushy so would be better in a home with older kids.

Can you offer Yogi a couch for his twilight years?

We are one of the NZ Greyhound Racing official adoption agencies.

This greyhound was beautifully bred from top lines of racing dogs, dearly loved by their trainers and given the best possible care.

They have been healthchecked, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and comes with current registration, free martingale collar, lead and muzzle.

This dog is available to a responsible home with suitable fencing. We require a $50 contribution towards the cost of getting this dog ready for a forever home.

Yogi is currently based in CHB but the home can be anywhere in New Zealand.
